Overview
As a Field Service First Line Manager in our Electronic Monitoring Service team you’ll play a key role in supporting colleagues who deliver essential monitoring services that help keep communities safe. You’ll lead a team that makes a clear and positive impact every day, helping improve service quality, strengthen operational consistency, and support better outcomes for people and communities who rely on us.
Responsibilities
* Lead and support colleagues to consistently meet and exceed performance targets
* Ensure operational procedures are followed and contract compliance is maintained
* Drive continuous improvement across efficiency, quality and service‑level performance
* Promote a positive team culture aligned with the Serco Leadership Standard
* Support the Area Manager and provide effective cover when required
Qualifications
* Recognised management qualification
* Experience leading people in a fast‑paced environment
* Proven capability in performance management
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* High level of accuracy, attention to detail and a results‑focused mindset
Vetting and Checks
This role requires BPSS clearance, which involves identity verification, employment history and criminal record checks to meet government security standards. An Occupational Health Questionnaire will also be required to ensure we can offer appropriate support for your wellbeing and performance.
