We are looking for experienced Butchers to run our Butchery Departments as if they were their own business. This is an exciting role where you will work with customers to develop their business, understand your local market, and provide excellent service.
This role offers the flexibility to manage a butchery business without the financial risk. We seek someone with strong product knowledge of all meat proteins, who is self-motivated and eager to succeed.
Your responsibilities include maintaining high standards in stock management, food safety procedures, meat displays, staff morale, and customer satisfaction.
You will collaborate with the Store Manager to develop a business plan aimed at increasing sales and profitability of your department.
Key duties involve greeting and advising customers, taking orders, managing stock including stocktaking, leading a small team with staff rota management, cutting meat to order, cleaning tools and equipment, coordinating deliveries or pickups, and waste control.
