Job Title: Learning & Development Trainer Location: Lisburn Salary / Range: Up to £45,000 Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time Summary VANRATH are proudly supporting a client in Lisburn who are seeking an experienced L&D Trainer to deliver and coordinate staff development across the site. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with experience in HACCP, food safety, and operational training who can design, deliver, and track training programmes while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and audit readiness. What you need: Train the Trainer qualification or equivalent experience. Proven experience delivering and coordinating training in a manufacturing or food production environment, including induction, refresher, and role-specific programmes. Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety, health and safety, and regulatory compliance. Experience managing or supporting training delivery and tracking performance metrics. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint for reporting and training materials. Confident liaising with site managers to ensure training aligns with operational requirements. Ability to design and deliver bespoke training sessions, including induction, awareness, and skills development programmes. Experience supporting or preparing for internal and external audits. What you will do each day: Coordinate and monitor training programmes across the site, ensuring HACCP, food safety, and health and safety compliance. Deliver training sessions and support trainers to ensure consistent, high-quality learning. Maintain and update training matrices, KPIs, and records to ensure audit readiness. Work with management to review and update SOPs and training materials in line with operational and regulatory requirements. Design and facilitate bespoke learning sessions for induction, awareness, and role-specific skills. Support apprenticeships, ongoing development initiatives, and staff progression programmes. Book and coordinate external training relevant to food production and compliance. Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring training documentation and records meet inspection standards. Promote a positive learning culture, emphasising safety, wellbeing, and professional development across the site.
