Shelter Cymru delivers Prison Link Cymru services across the six local authorities in North Wales, and at HMP Eastwood Park in Gloucestershire. The project aims to prevent homelessness and re-offending amongst people in prison from Wales, by ensuring wherever possible that complex housing needs are addressed, suitable accommodation is available upon release, and that homelessness is prevented. Based in Wrexham, Shelter Cymru’s PLC project aims to provide a co-ordinated service to all Local Authorities in North Wales, and works primarily within HMP’s Berwyn, Drake Hall and Styal.
