We’re expanding our teams and looking for a Reinstatement Supervisor to join us. You’ll oversee reinstatement works from planning through to completion, ensuring our sites are restored to a high standard and fully compliant with statutory and client requirements. Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise daily reinstatement operations, including backfilling, surfacing, paving, and final finishes.
* Coordinate with civils, electrical, water and gas teams to ensure smooth project handovers.
* Plan and manage reinstatement schedules to meet permit requirements and programme deadlines.
* Monitor site progress to ensure high‑quality workmanship and complete site clearance.
* Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with NRSWA, SROH, HAUC and client standards.
* Identify, record and resolve defects quickly to prevent delays or recharges.
* Support and mentor reinstatement operatives and subcontractors, promoting safe working behaviours.
* Liaise with clients, local authorities and internal teams to address reinstatement queries.
* Validate job records, manage resources efficiently and support cost control.
* Record completed works, issues and non‑conformances on company systems.
Skills Required
* Strong working knowledge of NRSWA, SROH, WRAP and reinstatement best practices.
* Proven experience supervising reinstatement, civils or multi‑utility activities.
* Ability to plan, prioritise and manage multiple teams and tasks.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical information.
* Competent using tablet‑based systems and mobile job management tools.
* A proactive approach with strong problem‑solving skills.
* Commitment to safe working practices and promoting a positive safety culture.
Educational Requirements
* Experience in a multi‑utility environment (electricity, water, gas).
* NRSWA Supervisor accreditation.
* SMSTS or equivalent site safety qualification.
* EUSR registration for Power, Water or Gas.
* First Aid qualification.
* Full UK driving licence.
