Weekend Security Supervisor
Location: Mithras Halls of Residence, Lewes Road, Brighton, BN2 4QX.
This is a permanent part‑time role working 24 hours per week. Salary: £18,328.00 per annum plus a benefits package.
Shift Pattern
Saturday and Sunday, 7 am‑7 pm.
Responsibilities
The Security Supervisor leads the security team, ensuring the safety and security of the Mithras Halls student accommodation campus with 804 residents. Key duties include:
* Managing guard shifts, patrols and protection of the campus buildings in accordance with assignment instructions.
* Overseeing the overall security integrity of the site.

Qualifications
* SIA / CCTV licence
* Excellent knowledge and working experience in a high‑profile security or customer‑focused environment
* High‑level client/customer focus, representing the company professionally and discreetly
* Knowledge of public safety and security
* Ability to work with confidential and classified information
* Knowledge of standard security and safety protocols
* Excellent verbal communication skills
* Strong teamwork ability and positive attitude
* Quick thinking and problem‑solving skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to work in high‑pressure environments
* Working knowledge of relevant computer applications
* Personal presentation to ambitious standards
* First aid certification
* Evidence of the right to work in the UK
