Finance Analyst – Real Estate Lending
Caravel are supporting a growing real estate development and bridging lender that is looking to hire a Finance Analyst into their team.
This is a broad, hands-on role supporting both the ongoing management of a live loan portfolio and the day-to-day financial operations that keep the platform running smoothly.
The Role
You’ll work closely with both the lending and finance teams, with responsibilities including:
* Supporting loan portfolio management – tracking positions, monitoring cashflows, and maintaining accurate records
* Managing payments and reconciliations, including broker fees and lender-related transactions
* Assisting with payroll and general finance operations
* Maintaining accurate financial data to support reporting and decision-making
* Working with internal systems and tools as the business continues to embrace automation and improve processes

What they’re looking for
* Experience working within a lending environment, ideally real estate, bridging, or development finance — though broader private credit experience is also relevant
* Background in bookkeeping, finance, or financial analysis
* Comfortable working with technology and systems, with an interest in automation and process improvement
* Strong attention to detail and confidence handling reconciliations and financial data
* Organised, proactive, and comfortable in a hands-on, lean team
Nice to have:
* Experience using Xero
£40,000–£50,000 + c.20% bonus
Hybrid working – 3 days in the office (Mayfair), 2 days WFH
