Spencer Clarke Group is assisting a Local Authority in the appointment of multiple experienced Senior Practitioners to join their Children and Families Team in Leeds.
As a Senior Practitioner, you will be expected to lead the residential practitioner team, supporting, encouraging, and safeguarding children and young people in their development, enabling them to make positive contributions to their families, society, and local communities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake a key worker role, implement care plans, conduct risk assessments, and devise support and health plans.
* Provide and maintain a safe, stimulating, and secure living and learning environment supporting day-to-day physical and emotional needs.
* Work with professionals and communities of origin to sustain links and understand past issues.
* Nurture children's ambitions for their future and their learning, both in and out of school.
Candidate Requirements:
* Hold at minimum NVQ/QCF Diploma Level 3 in Residential Child Care, as well as the QCF Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services Level 5.
