Vehicle Body Production (Trailers)
Location: Winsford Salary: £35,455
£41,368 (dependent on experience) Hours: MondayThursday: 7:30am4:30pm Friday: 7:30am3:30pm (30-minute unpaid lunch daily; occasional evenings/weekends as required)
Full-time | Permanent | Immediate Start Available Role Overview
Join our specialist b odybuilding team or production line, building finished trailer and vehicle bodies to the highest standards. Youll work from technical drawings using materials such as hardwood, fibreglass, steel, and aluminiumperforming assembly, drilling, cutting, riveting, welding, and grinding. Key Responsibilities
Interpret and work from technical drawings and specification sheets
Assemble and join body parts (wood, GRP, steel, aluminium) to meet quality targets
Operate hand tools and basic machinery for cutting, drilling, riveting, welding, and grinding
Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals
Adhere to health & safety regulations and maintain a safe workspace
Keep production area clean and organised
Minimise waste through efficient use and disposal of materials
Carry out additional duties as business needs require (training provided)
Skills & Experience
Hands-on manufacturing experience in commercial vehicle bodywork or trailer production
Proven ability to read and work from technical drawings
Expert use of hand tools for assembly, cutting, riveting, and grinding
Skilled in welding techniques relevant to chassis and body fabrication
Organised, proactive, and self-motivated with a strong attention to detail
Committed to meeting production targets without compromising quality
