Site Supervisor / Manager – Permanent
Location: Infrastructure Projects, Highlands of Scotland
Our client, a well-established and respected civil engineering contractor, is seeking to strengthen their team with an experienced Site Supervisor / Manager on a permanent basis. This role will see you leading infrastructure projects across the Highlands of Scotland, taking responsibility for the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of works.
You will play a key role in the proactive coordination of site activities, maintaining excellent health and safety standards, and fostering a positive and productive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all on-site operations for civil engineering projects, from initial mobilisation through to final handover
Coordinate and manage site personnel, subcontractors, plant, and materials
Ensure all works are delivered to the highest quality, meeting technical specifications and industry standards
Maintain and promote robust health and safety practices on site
Liaise effectively with clients, engineers, and project managers to keep works on track and resolve issues promptly
Keep accurate records, site reports, and daily diaries
Monitor progress against the programme and provide regular updates to senior management
Essential Skills & Experience:
Proven track record in a supervisory or site management role within the civil engineering sector, ideally with experience in earthworks, reinforced concrete, deep drainage, road construction, and utilities
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
HNC, HND, or Degree in Construction Management / Civil Engineering
SMSTS or SSSTS certification
NRSWA Supervisor accreditation and valid 3 Day First Aid certificate
CSCS Gold or Black card (management level)
Full UK driving licence
