We're a well-regarded adult legal team and we're looking for a senior lawyer to join us. The work is genuinely interesting and varied - you'll be advising on the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Mental Health Act 1983, and representing clients in the Court of Protection and County Court. It's the kind of role where you can see the difference your work makes to people's lives in Dorset. You'll handle complex cases and work closely with senior managers across adult social care. There's a supervision and line management element too - supporting and guiding colleagues in the team, with formal 1-1s where needed - as well as providing support to the Business Partner and Head of Legal Services. We're a collaborative team that looks out for each other. We offer flexible working and take career development seriously, with regular 1-1s and access to training.
