Senior IT Support Engineer
Location: Derby
Type: Permanent
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (DOE)
Job Description
* Provide support for Windows Server, Networks, and IT Infrastructure.
* Join an established IT Managed Services company based in Derby.
* Work from the Derby office 4 days/week with 1 day WFH.
* Participate in the team 'on-call' shift rota, typically one Saturday per month (paid at time and a half).
* Support a range of IT infrastructure including Windows Server, Networking, Switches, Routers, Desktops, Storage, Telephony, Applications, O365, SaaS/PaaS/IaaS, Printers, Linux, Cloud (AWS/Azure).
* Troubleshoot and resolve IT incidents and escalated tickets.
* Maintain high customer satisfaction and meet SLAs.
* Support IT projects such as installations, upgrades, and migrations.
* Mentor and coach a small team of 1st/2nd Line Support Engineers.
* Must hold a full UK Driving Licence and have own vehicle.
* Experience with MSPs or IT support businesses preferred.
* IT certifications like MCSA, MCSE, MCP, CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, ITSM, or CompTIA are advantageous.
