Job Summary
We are seeking a caring, motivated, and skilled Dental Hygienist to become an integral part of our friendly and forward thinking dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional care to our patients. Duties
* Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
* Perform scaling and polishing of teeth, applying fluoride treatments as necessary.
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental care.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with health regulations.
* Collaborate with dentists and other team members to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
* Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
* Flexibility and willingness to work across different locations.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
* A recognised qualification in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.
* Previous experience in a dental practice is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health is essential.
* Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is desirable.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
* A commitment to providing high quality patient care and maintaining a professional demeanour at all times.
