KONE has an excellent opportunity for a Lift Tester to join our New Equipment and Modernisation team on a full-time basis. This role covers the North East, with occasional travel to other areas as required.

Key accountabilities:

1. Test lift units in accordance with the relevant test documents and KONE standard interpretation of EN81, Lift Directive and Essential Health & Safety Requirements

2. Test lifts within timescales set

3. Commission equipment following agreed specifications and commissioning instructions

4. Conduct technical assessments, identify faults, and record abnormalities for corrective action

5. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently

6. Carry out final inspection and sign the Final inspection document

7. Liaise with relevant site personnel to ascertain state of lift

8. Manage on-site communication with the customer for day-to-day testing and commissioning activities with a continuous coordination with Supervisor

9. Participate in meetings and workgroups related to quality and technical matters
