You will work with colleagues across the business and a diverse supplier network to support strategic decision-making and drive measurable oues.
Your new role
You will act as a subject-matter expert, leadingplex above‑threshold public procurement activity from end to end. You will designmercially robust procurement strategies, guide pre‑market engagement, develop tender documentation, and build detailed evaluation models.Key responsibilities include:
1. Leadingplex tender procurement processes.
2. Providing clearmercial and procurement advice to influence specifications andmercial models.
3. Managing evaluation and moderation processes, including training evaluators.
4. Draftingpliant standstill letters, award notices and ratification reports.
5. Advising on contract design, formation and supplier onboarding.
6. Identifying opportunities for efficiencies through analysis of spend and pipeline data.
7. Leading procurement workstreams, presentingmercial insights to senior leadership, and contributing toernance forums.
8. Supporting junior colleagues and promoting goodmercial practice across the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
You will bring significant experience inplex public procurement and the confidence to work autonomously. Essential requirements:
9. Extensive experience designing and delivering large, multi‑vendor public procurement processes.
10. Strong knowledge of public procurement legislation,mercial contracts and supplier management.
11. Proven background in developing strategic procurement approaches.
12. Experience in professional services procurement.
13. Strongmunication skills, with the ability to explainplex issues clearly.
14. A track record of influencing senior stakeholders and managingpeting priorities.
15. Experience supporting junior team members.
Desirable experience:
16. Procurement activity linked to social value, sustainability or net‑zero objectives.
17. Providingmercialmentary to support management information.
18. MCIPS or an equivalent supply‑chain qualification would be desirable but not essential.

Apetitive salary of up to £62,500 per annum is on offer with an excellent package on offer including an achievable bonus, excellent pension, 38 days holiday and hybrid/flexible working (2 days in the office / 3 days working from home).
