Are you currently working in care, supported housing or community support and looking for a role where you can really make a difference to peoples lives?
We are looking for compassionate, organised and proactive individuals to join a highly respected charitable organisation supporting elderly residents aged 65+ within beautiful almshouse communities in Richmond.
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will be the main point of contact for residents, helping to create a safe, welcoming and supportive environment while encouraging independence and wellbeing.

Care homes
Domiciliary care
Care agencies
Supported housing
Retirement living
Community support
Resident or customer-facing care environments
Previous Scheme Manager experience is not essential. Full training and ongoing support will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to move from a care or support background into a more community focused role.
Applicants must:
Be a car owner/driver
Live within a reasonable commuting distance of the London Borough of Richmond (approximately 40 minutes or less)
The Role
Building positive relationships with residents aged 65+
Supporting resident wellbeing and independent living
Carrying out regular welfare and wellbeing checks
Responding to day-to-day resident queries and concerns
Liaising with families, healthcare professionals and external agencies
Assisting residents to access support services where required
Managing administration and maintaining accurate records
Helping to maintain a safe, welcoming and community-focused environment
About You
A caring, empathetic and patient approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Organised with good administrative ability
Calm, practical and solution-focused
Comfortable handling sensitive situations
Confident using email and basic IT systems
Experience supporting elderly or vulnerable people would be highly desirable
