Customer Services Advisor

Contract & Location
* Contract: Fixed Term Contract – 37.5 hours per week
* Schedule: 5 days per week, 5 days from 7‑day week, including weekends when required
* Hours: 09:00 – 17:30
* Salary: £24,400 per annum
* Location: Preston DC, Trefoil Way, Preston, PR2 5PH
Job Overview
In this role you will work closely with our Drivers, Shift Managers and Operations Managers to identify, troubleshoot and resolve customer enquiries regarding collection or delivery of parcels. You will be accountable for delivering a world‑class experience to both internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
* Answer queries about delivery status and provide Proof of Delivery (POD)
* Investigate missing parcels and resolve delivery disputes
* Promote company products and services to new and existing customers
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a fast‑paced customer service environment
* Strong communication skills, confident telephone manner and ability to build rapport quickly
* Polite, professional and willing to go the ‘extra mile’ to exceed expectations
* Excellent administration skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
* High levels of self‑motivation, initiative and problem‑solving ability
