Job Title: Community Cafe Manager
Nunhead Salvation Army Corps is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Community Cafe Manager to oversee the effective operation of the Cafe. The role includes managing employees and volunteers to ensure a high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure high-quality food, presentation, and service are provided to café customers, including for special events or functions, maintaining excellent customer service.
2. Develop and regularly evaluate a strategy with the officer to promote the café within the local community and increase income.
3. Collaborate with the officer and local leadership to develop and implement the corps mission.
4. Take necessary actions to promote the ethos and values of the Salvation Army in the community.
5. Plan menus considering dietary needs, customer preferences, and feedback to ensure high customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will have:
* Experience managing at a supervisory level within a food retail environment.
* Strong knowledge and experience in preparing and serving food in a café setting.
* Experience in developing attractive, well-balanced menus to draw customers and boost business, including for events like birthday parties.
* Previous experience managing volunteers and staff to achieve objectives.
