The Network Solution Architect designs and documents enterprise network architectures for LAN, WAN, WLAN, and cloud environments to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security. This role collaborates with stakeholders to align solutions with business objectives, maintains network standards and roadmaps, leads designs for data centers and cloud integration, and creates HLDs, LLDs, and topology diagrams.
Responsibilities include leading technical workshops, resolving complex networking issues, updating architecture standards to meet business and compliance needs, and integrating security features like Zero Trust, segmentation, and NAC into designs.
Key skills
1. Design network architectures for cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
2. Integrate hybrid and multi-cloud networks and services.
3. Develop automation tools and scripts for network management and operational processes (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
4. Deploy network performance monitoring systems, including SolarWinds or Cisco DNA Center, to maintain system performance and uptime.
5. Knowledge of IPv4/IPv6, routing, switching, subnetting, VLANs, NAT, and QoS
6. Proficient in BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, STP, VXLAN, DNS, DHCP
