Job Overview Hours: Part-time (4 days per week, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) Start date: January 2026 We are looking for an experienced Primary Teacher to deliver exceptional teaching and learning across Years 5 and 6 at Thorpe Hesley Primary. The successful candidate will be an inspirational and passionate teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree or professional qualification. Experience in the Primary phase, ideally Key Stage 2, is essential, along with a proven track record of helping pupils make excellent progress and achieve strong end-of-year and key stage results. Creativity, high expectations, and a commitment to nurturing every child’s learning, behaviour, and wellbeing are central to this role. You should also have a secure understanding of safeguarding legislation and guidance, be confident in contributing to curriculum development across the school, and thrive working collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents.
