Principal Mechanical Engineer – Electrified Personal Aircraft An exciting opportunity has opened for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a pioneering company developing next‑generation electrified personal aircraft. You’ll play a key role in designing structural, flight‑critical, and non‑flight hardware—contributing to the evolution of sustainable personal aviation.
Working in a fast‑paced, innovation‑driven environment, you’ll be involved across the full lifecycle: from concept development and detailed design, through to testing, validation, and production handover.
What You’ll Do Develop 3D CAD models and 2D drawings of components and assemblies
Perform stress analyses (FEA and hand calculations)
Support prototyping, testing, and manufacturing transfer
Collaborate closely with cross‑functional engineering teams
Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and airworthiness guidelines
What We’re Looking For Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
3+ years’ experience in aerospace, automotive, or high‑performance mechanical design
Proficiency in CAD (Siemens NX preferred, or equivalent)
Knowledge of lightweight structures, composites, and integration
Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
