<div><h3>About the Role</h3><p>As an Intern, you will assist with the efficient day-to-day operation of the office and support the work of management and other staff at Springfield. This is a one-year, paid internship. You will report to Gillian Laughlin Fuller.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Answer enquiries using a professional manner</li><li>Greet internal stakeholders/advisors in a professional yet friendly manner</li><li>Direct incoming enquiries to appropriate team members</li><li>Reply to information requests with accurate information</li><li>Assist with raising purchase orders and matching invoices to purchase orders so that the budget holder can approve payment</li><li>Update the fee tracker with information on a timely basis</li><li>Update the tax team action list and proactively issue reminders for upcoming tasks</li><li>Update and ensure accuracy of databases including contact names for VAT and CT compliance</li><li>Assist with preparation of withholding tax clearance applications for review, maintain records of clearances received</li><li>Provide secretarial and administration support to management and other staff</li><li>Use computer systems, word processing, spreadsheets (can perform complex functions), databases, etc. to prepare reports, memos, and documents to support the wider tax team</li><li>Draft minutes of meetings with internal stakeholders/advisors for review</li><li>Undertake role‑specific training such as document control, SAP, etc.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Ability to work under pressure</li><li>Good interpersonal skills</li><li>Analytical and problem‑solving skills</li><li>Attention to detail and high level of accuracy</li><li>Effective organisational skills</li><li>Decision making</li><li>Good customer service skills</li><li>Ability to multitask
