Job Description
The Hippodrome Produced Marketing Manager devises, implements, monitors and evaluates the marketing campaigns for the organisation’s own expanding creative output; promoting and raising awareness of our staged productions both on and off site, our Learning and Participatory work, our Associate Artists and their productions as well as our wide-ranging Festivals programme of work and front of house activities.
The role jointly manages the Productions & Festivals Marketing Officer with the Touring Productions Marketing Manager. The role works closely with internal Communications, Festivals, New Work, New Musicals and Information & Sales teams as well external show producers and suppliers.
The role requires an individual with a close eye for detail and an interest in devising fresh approaches to retaining audiences and extending the reach of Birmingham Hippodrome to wider communities. We are looking for an ability to take on new challenges, multi-task, innovate and collaborate.
Recognising under-representation in our workforce of Black, Asian and ethnically diverse people, and those with disabilities, we particularly welcome applicants from those backgrounds, identities and experience.
