This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

Are you interested in using your skills and experience to support research delivery across Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and the University of Leeds? We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join the University of Leeds (UoL) and Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (LTHT) Sponsor Quality Assurance (QA) office, responsible for monitoring and oversight of clinical trials.
About the organization
The University of Leeds and Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust sponsor in-house studies, including Clinical Trials of Investigational Medicinal Products (CTIMPs), managing them in accordance with the Medicines for Human Use Clinical Trials Regulations. The joint UoL and LTHT QA function provides guidance and a common regulatory framework for researchers across both organizations.
Key responsibilities
1. Monitoring a portfolio of LTHT and UoL-sponsored studies against Good Clinical Practice standards, clinical trial regulations, and UK policies.
2. Leading site monitoring visits within LTHT.
3. Performing central monitoring, trial management, and wider governance activities from within the QA office.
