Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 enthusiastic nursing assistants to join us on Kingfisher Ward, specialising in the care of working age adults in need of psychiatric intensive care. We provide 24 hour care within our purpose built assessment and therapy unit, working within a multidisciplinary approach that optimises each individual's recovery. Apprenticeships are available for individuals who do not already have a Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant subject. The post includes the opportunity to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship qualification relevant to your role. Apprenticeships include regular training with a college or other training organisation. Around 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying, leading to a nationally recognised qualification. We are a vibrant, activity driven ward that promotes person centred care which supports both our patients and their carers. Candidates must demonstrate a compassionate and caring attitude towards their patients and be able to deliver a high standard of care. Role and responsibilities
To carry out assigned tasks involving direct patient care, in support of and under the supervision of a first level registered nurse. The post holder will care for the patient's physical and personal needs, ensuring that a high standard of patient care is achieved.
