Job title: Threadroll Setter/Operator
Competitive Hourly Rate: from £ per hour Operator Level to Setter level £ dependent on skill level (rate inclusive of shift allowance) in line with Grading Structure
Shift : AM Shift 6 am to pm Monday to Thursday and Friday early finish am.

1. Set Hot and Cold thread rolling machines to produce fasteners to strict tolerances.
2. Have Knowledge of threads and application of rolling them.
3. Participate in & support process development & improvement projects
4. Undertake training on all machines to ensure 100% flexibility in the workplace, and once fully trained to train others
5. Support the documentation of manufacturing processes and development of training manuals
6. Uses gauges and measuring equipment to ensure product meets required specifications
7. Self inspection (Quality) of your personal work and over check of others work
8. Keep all computer files and manual paperwork accurate and up to date at all times
9. Responsible for producing SPC charts and records
10. To actively take part in locally focused, or multi-functional continuous improvement teams
11. Participate 5S and housekeeping ensuring it is maintained to the highest standards
12. Work as fully flexible team member within the Company to maximize levels of production and quality
13. To ensure operators are working effectively and efficiently at all times
14. Manage the areas tooling ensuring all tooling requirements are highlighted in a timely manner to ensure tools are available to meet production demands
15. All quality procedures are adhered to, taking an active part in root cause analysis
16. Maximize plant and resource utilization
17. Adhere to all company EHS requirements and actively participate in the identification and elimination of hazards.
