Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and driven Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence and engage our audience. This role requires a strong understanding of public relations and social media management, with a focus on creating compelling content that resonates with our target market.
Duties
* Develop and execute social media strategies across various platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
* Create engaging content tailored to each platform to drive audience interaction and brand awareness.
* Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and engagement opportunities, responding promptly to comments and messages.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns and objectives.
* Analyse social media performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
* Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in social media and public relations.
* Assist in managing relationships with influencers and partners to enhance brand visibility.
Experience
* Proven experience in public relations or social media management is essential.
* Strong writing skills with an ability to create clear, engaging content that reflects the brand's voice.
* Familiarity with social media analytics tools to track performance metrics effectively.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
* A creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and connecting with audiences through digital platforms.
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
