Finance Assistant
Location: Perthshire, PH2 9PX - Hybrid Working (2 days onsite)
Salary: Upto £28,000 per annum, DOE
Hours: Monday-Friday (08:30-17:00)
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Transactional Finance Manager, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day transactional finance activities of the business.
This role is ideal for someone with previous office experience who is organised, adaptable and comfortable working with financial systems. You will support core finance processes including bank reconciliations, payment processing, cash allocation and purchase order administration.
Key Responsibilities
Credit Control
Allocate daily cash receipts
Assist in debt recovery and other credit control duties
Assisting with Direct Debits
Meeting deadlines and kpis
Purchase Orders
Administer and maintain the purchase order process
Ensure reports are issues to other areas of the business
Purchase Ledger
Process purchase ledger invoices
Set up weekly and monthly payment runs
Reconciling supplier statements
Other Transactional Duties
Set up supplier payments using online banking systems
Record and bank customer cash and cheque payments
Answering calls on various ring groups, covering all transactional finance
About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, reliable and able to manage a range of administrative and finance tasks.
Essential
Minimum 1 year office or administrative experience
Good computer literacy and confidence using business systems
Strong attention to detail
Good organisational and time management skills
Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues across the business
Desirable
Experience working with Sage accounting software
Previous experience in a finance or accounts role
