Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
* 3 years of experience in three of the following security areas: network, web application/mobile, cloud, social engineering, scripting, tool development.
* Experience with operating system security across Linux or other operating systems.
* Experience in communicating technical details through reporting and presentations to technical and executive audiences.
Preferred qualifications
* Certifications in offensive security including OSCE, OSEP, OSEE, OSCP, CCSAS, CCT, INF, or related SANS courses.
* Experience in creating security tools with knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, C#, C/C++, Rust, Nim, etc).
* Experience in four or more of the following: network protocols, threat intelligence analysis, system and network administration, project management, developing applications, technical incident response processes, source code review, reverse engineering.
* Experience in working with local business and management teams in managing consulting business generation, scoping or client management.
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and public speaking skills.
* Successful candidates must be eligible and required to obtain UK security clearance.
About the job
Mandiant’s Red Team delivers adversarial emulation engagements. The team delivers Threat‑Intel‑led Red Team for enterprises, prepares command and control infrastructure, develops social‑engineering campaigns and associated collateral, executes phishing campaigns, attempts to compromise internet‑facing systems, conducts privilege escalation and lateral movement within customer networks, hunts for objectives with limited customer information, and exfiltrates data from the network while avoiding detection by customer security operations teams. In this role you will assess and advise clients on technical and process‑based controls for all environments, perform Red and Purple Team assessments, external engagement testing, web application, mobile, and wireless security testing, expand the team’s capabilities through tool creation, research on offensive techniques, threat‑actor intelligence, internal presentations, and knowledge sharing, and provide cybersecurity consulting services and support to clients.
Responsibilities
* Perform offensive technical cybersecurity engagements of multiple nature.
* Interface with clients to address concerns, issues, or escalations; track and drive to closure of any issues that impact the engagements and its value to clients.
* Advise clients on security best practices for remediating discovered issues.
* Collaborate with internal teams to expand capabilities to deliver value to clients.
