The ideal candidate will be responsible for laying block paving, Indian sandstone/porcelain paving, artificial turf etc to various residential properties, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Responsibilities
* Prepare the work area by clearing debris and ensuring a stable base for paving materials.
* Lay paving stones, bricks, or blocks according to specifications and design plans.
* Ensure proper alignment and level of materials during installation.
* Mix and apply mortar or adhesive as required for securing paving materials.
* Finish surfaces by cleaning excess mortar or adhesive and ensuring a neat appearance.
* Follow health and safety regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
* Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
Skills
* Proven experience in paving or related construction work is preferred.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow technical drawings and specifications.
* Excellent physical fitness and stamina for manual labour tasks.
* Ability to operate construction machinery safely (e.g., compactors, mixers).
* Good communication skills for effective teamwork and collaboration.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations within the construction industry is advantageous.
