We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Kidderminster who require a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join their team.
This is an established first opinion practice which provides high quality veterinary care. The team is comprised of 2 vets, 3 RVNs and supporting staff. The practice sees a wide variety of cases with each day being different.The role involves all aspects of general nursing and the RVN will be working with mainly cats, dogs and small species. They are looking for a confident and down to earth RVN who can work not only as part of a team but also independently. Excellent customer service and communications skills are key along with good organisational skills and the ability to make decisions to carry out the role.
This role is part time for 30 hours per week, along with 1 in 4 Saturdays from 9am to 12pm. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.
Duties will include:
Administering treatments
Assisting the vets in theatre and with diagnostic procedures
Inpatient care
Covering reception duties
Schedule 3 procedures
