Role: UX/Service Designer Rate: £495 p/d Outside IR35 Location: Canary Wharf HQ -Hybrid Model - 2 days p/w on site Duration: 6 months We're working with a Global Bank looking for a UX/Service Designer with experience working on internal applications/products. In this role you'll be working on a modernisation of the current products and processes within the business. Experience Required: Experience as a UX/Service Designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating user-centred design expertise. Deep understanding of design principles and best practices. Proven experience with user-centred design methodologies, including the ability to explain design decisions effectively. Expertise in creating user workflows, diagrams, and service blueprints. A strong appreciation for simplicity and elegance in UX design. Stakeholder collaboration skills, including experience engaging with SMEs, business leaders, and development teams. Good knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments. Comfortable working in cross-functional teams, contributing independently and alongside other UX professionals. Proficiency with UX design tools, such as Figma, Sketch, and Axure. Passion for human cognition and behaviour, with a focus on enhancing user experiences. Ability to manage multiple projects at different stages of development. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively in a corporate/banking environment. Excellent time management skills, ensuring the timely delivery of UX solutions. Responsibilities: Workshop Facilitation – Organise and lead workshops to gather high-level user requirements, define user journeys, and create service blueprints. User-Centred Design Outputs – Develop user flows, layout anatomies, and concept designs based on user journeys and business requirements. Prototype Development – Produce low-fidelity and high-fidelity designs across multiple projects, validating them with business stakeholders and end users. Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to ensure seamless implementation of designs. Design Strategy – Collaborate with the UX Lead to establish and refine design strategies for each project.
