About the Role
An exciting locum opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Podiatrist – Diabetes Team in Hounslow. This full-time position offers up to £27 per hour and the chance to work within a dynamic AHP Podiatry service, specialising in diabetic foot care.
You will play a crucial role in promoting patient health and wellbeing, delivering high-quality podiatry services to individuals with diabetes and complex foot care needs. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your expertise while working in a vibrant and diverse community setting.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of new patients across all aspects of podiatry, with a specialist focus on diabetic foot care.
Treatment and Management: Provide expert treatment and management of high‑risk diabetic feet, including wound care, ulcer management and preventative strategies.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with the multidisciplinary Diabetes Team to deliver holistic, patient‑centred care.
Clinical Governance: Ensure all treatments and interventions comply with HCPC standards and current best practice guidelines.
Professional Development: Engage in ongoing CPD activities, staying updated with the latest developments in podiatry and diabetic foot management.
