Job overview
Band 7 Clinical Lead - Fixed Term Contract for up to 6 months.
Due to the retirement of our current Clinical Lead, the South County Crisis Team are looking for a Band 7 Clinical Lead to join the team based at Albany House in Derby.
This is an exciting opportunity within a dynamic team for someone with both Leadership and previous Assessment Services experience to support a busy but effective service through a period of strategic transformational change.

Main duties of the job
As Clinical Lead you will be working within the leadership structure of the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Service. The post holder will be expected to ensure the team adopts the policies and philosophy of the Trust and provides a range of urgent care using appropriate therapeutic interventions which promote independence, foster a learning culture and enhance the autonomy of the service user, and ensuring high quality, compassionate, person-centred care.
The post holder will provide strong and effective clinical leadership in line with agreed policy and Service Specification which will involve liaison with delegated team leads within DHCFT and other partner agencies. The post holder will have a good understanding of relevant Law, and national and local guidance.
Above all the post holder will ensure provision of a safe, culturally competent, effective, timely and accessible service in accordance with national and local priorities and is responsive to the needs of individuals in contact with the service.
