Kia Toyota Division Sales Director – Vertu Motors National Role
We’re offering a rare opportunity to join the successful senior leadership team at Vertu Motors in a pivotal Sales Director role, overseeing our Kia and Toyota dealerships across England.
Here at Vertu we have delivered significant growth over the last decade through both targeted acquisition activity and organic growth, all founded on strong relationships. As is stands we operate over 190 franchised motor retail outlets across England, Scotland, and Wales, providing vehicle sales, servicing, parts, and accident repair services for all major manufacturers. Our team of over 7,500 colleagues generates annualised turnover approaching £5 billion. There is more to come over the coming years.
Our KT division is a strong, performing, and stable part of our Group, comprising eleven sales locations across Yorkshire and the East Midlands. We’re now looking to strengthen our senior management team to support and drive performance across these dealerships and to lay the foundation for the future both in terms of growth of the Group and the senior management team in this division.
Reporting to the Group Operational Director, you’ll be part of a divisional team of four, responsible for shaping and executing the strategic direction of our Kia and Toyota sales operations. Your focus will be on delivering the Group’s sales strategy at dealership level, ensuring teams understand and implement our Active Sales process effectively. * Regular travel across the dealership network to stay close to operations and influence outcomes directly.
You’ll also be responsible for developing talent within the division, enhancing the skills and capabilities of your Sales Managers through structured development plans.
Given the rapid pace of technological change in the automotive sector—including vehicle electrification, evolving customer buying behaviours, and increasing complexity in product offerings—you’ll need a proven track record in managing and implementing change.
