GCSE Tutor
Salary:
£25 - £35 Per hour
Job Duties:
1. Provide one-on-one tutoring to GCSE students in various subjects.
2. Develop tailored lesson plans and study materials based on students' needs and curriculum requirements.
3. Assess students' progress, identify areas for improvement, and provide feedback to help them achieve academic success.
4. Prepare students for GCSE exams by reviewing key concepts, practising exam questions, and enhancing study skills.
5. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers to ensure alignment in educational goals and progress tracking.
Required Qualifications:
- A relevant degree in Education or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience in tutoring or teaching GCSE level subjects
Education:
- Degree in Education or a related field
Experience:
- Previous experience in tutoring or teaching GCSE level subjects
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum and exam requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
- Proficient in identifying and addressing learning gaps
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Additional certifications in subject areas relevant to GCSE curriculum
Working Conditions:
- Part-time hours, flexible schedule

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
