Find out more by taking a look at (url removed). Skills for Care has multiple exciting opportunities for Business Support Officers across the organisation. Our Business Support Officers support successful planning and delivery of business-as-usual projects and programmes. Bringing strong organisational and facilitation skills along with excellent communication, you will play a key role in supporting Skills for Care to fulfil our role of supporting people working in social care. The Business Support Officer role is often the link between our National Leads and the rest of the organisation and plays a vital role in ensuring that projects are planned, communicated, and delivered successfully. The post holders will support the successful delivery of a range of projects by providing professional project support to National Leads, Programme Heads and Heads of Departments to ensure project deliverables are achieved. The Workforce Delivery Team leads a broad and evolving portfolio of work that supports key areas across adult social care. This includes delegated healthcare activities, commissioning and workforce planning, prevention, and reform related to the Mental Health Act. The team also provides oversight for individual employers and personal assistants, including the management of the Individual Employer and User-Led Organisation Development Fund. Candidates will be able to demonstrate experience of working in a similar role and provide examples to evidence effective organisational and communication skills. Attention to detail as well as the ability to see the bigger picture is vital, as Business Support Officers are in the best place to highlight cross-cutting themes and make recommendations about efficient cross-organisational working. The role also requires strong negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to build relationships quickly with team members as well as a range of stakeholders.
