Responsibilities
* Conduct structural appraisals to assess stability, defects, and necessary repairs
* Utilise both intrusive investigation and non-destructive testing techniques
* Prepare and present detailed reports with clear, justified conclusions
* Lead repair design and oversee the repair process
* Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior engineers
* Prepare structural calculations, drawings, and contract documents
* Ensure professional development and training align with ICE or IStructE requirements
Qualifications
* Chartered or working towards chartership with ICE or IStructE
* Strong leadership and mentor abilities
* Excellent knowledge of structural design principles
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Tekla, and Autodesk REVIT
* Experience in assessing various building types and leading investigations
