Our client is seeking a Survey Workshop Supervisor to be based in their Aberdeen facility on a staff full-time basis. Responsible for the inspection and maintenance of survey and positioning equipment, logistical related aspects and development of workshop. RESPONSIBILITIES Co-ordination of workshop, creating schedules to execute the daily workload in a timely manner to meet deadlines. Ensuring workshop team test, maintain & prepare Asset equipment for projects in line with department QA/QC procedure. Produces reports, procedures, manuals and any other related technical documentation pertaining to the operation and support of in-house survey equipment. Responsible for inventory, availability, inspection, repair, calibration, maintenance & compliance, including all relevant documentation. Ensures that maintenance standards are being executed within manufacturer recommendations, regulatory requirements and periodic certifications. Responsible for conducting inspection, repair, calibration, and maintenance of survey equipment. Update records of equipment maintenance, service, calibration, failure and repair, and close out fault reports submitted from the offshore teams. Responsible for receipt and storage of Asset equipment and to ensure equipment is suitably packed for outward consignment. Assist Support Engineers in equipment availability/selection and provide technical assistance / support. Responsible to ensure orders received are checked into warehouse and register all new equipment into the department Asset tracking system. Maintains inventory and stock levels of all equipment and consumables. Contribute to Survey equipment technical updates & bulletins. Maintain necessary tools and equipment required to execute survey equipment maintenance and repair. Working according to the department QA/QC procedures, standards and specifications and contributes to their improvement. Actively partakes in research and development of internally designed solutions to meet project requirements. Assists Warehouse as required on receipt of third party hired survey equipment. REQUIREMENTS College education and/or industry training in survey related electronic engineering. Experience in an onshore workshop environment, inspecting, testing and maintaining survey equipment. Experience in the installation and interfacing of survey equipment and sensors. Experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings (both electronic and mechanical) Good computer literacy (Microsoft Office applications).
