OM Search Consultants is delighted to be working with a private equity backed business on their search for a hands-on Financial Controller to lead their finance function and drive strategic financial performance.
The Company
The company is a rapidly expanding manufacturer known for innovation, quality, and operational excellence. As they scale, they're in search for a financial leader who can bring structure, insight, and strategic direction to our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance.
* Develop and implement robust financial controls and processes.
* Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
* Manage cash flow, working capital, and cost control initiatives.
* Partner with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
* Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
* Mentor and develop a small finance team.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
* Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and ERP systems.
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
* Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
* Comfortable working in a hands-on capacity with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude.

Salary of £60,000 - £75,000 plus benefits package.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role in manufacturing or industrial sectors. Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and ERP systems.
