Salary: Band 6/7 - £44k–£58k (Term-time only)
About the Role
Looking for a motivated Band 6 or 7 Occupational Therapist to join a specialist multidisciplinary team supporting children and young people with complex physical and learning disabilities. You will manage a specialist caseload, delivering high-quality, evidence-based interventions to support students’ independence, functional skills, and access to education.
Responsibilities
* Deliver specialist OT assessments and interventions
* Manage a caseload of complex needs independently
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT)
* Support students with:
* Functional skills
* Sensory needs
* Access to learning
* Provide training and advice to education staff
* Recommend and review specialist equipment and adaptations
* Contribute to service development, audits, and projects
Qualifications
* Degree in Occupational Therapy + HCPC registration
Required Skills
* Complex disabilities
* Learning disabilities / SEND
Ability to:
* Work autonomously (Band 6 level)
* Manage a complex caseload
* Communicate with families, carers, and professionals
* Experience supervising or supporting junior staff (desirable)
