Park Ranger - fixed term until 31/03/2026

Salary: £26,337 - £28,835
Hours: 36 per week, 52 weeks
The park ranger contributes to the maintenance, development, and improvement of parks and open space areas working in partnership with local communities, and other internal and external partners and services.
Among other related duties, you will carry out the following:
1. You will act as first point of contact to advise on management rules and local park developments, engage and interact with users, and encourage respect and protection of the city's natural environment.
2. You will undertake designated patrol and security duties, complete documentation, and log information.
3. You will identify and respond immediately to problems encountered during visits or at the request of service supervisors or park users.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and increases annually until it reaches the top of the range.
