We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst for a leading provider of data-driven products and services, specialising in curating, managing, and delivering high-quality geospatial and environmental datasets to a wide range of industries. The organisation plays a key role in supporting decision-making across property, infrastructure, and environmental markets by delivering trusted, accurate, and accessible data solutions. Key Responsibilities
* Data Lifecycle Management: Maintain and enhance datasets through ETL/ELT processes, pipeline optimisation, geocoding, and quality monitoring, acting as subject matter expert for internal and external queries.
* Product & Service Support: Research, evaluate, and configure datasets, collaborating with product and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery against project plans.
* Orders & Governance: Advise on bespoke customer orders, manage delivery from start to finish, and ensure datasets meet governance standards with accurate frequency, currency, and metadata.
* Continuous Improvement & Team Support: Drive process improvements, support KPIs on automation and efficiency, and provide guidance and knowledge-sharing to colleagues.
Essential Criteria
* Qualification in GIS or a data-related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
* At least 2 years' experience in data analysis/curation and in developing ETL/ELT processes with a focus on optimisation.
* Strong practical knowledge of SQL and Python, with exposure to database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL/GIS.
* Familiarity with public or private cloud-based data tools and storage solutions.
