Job Description
* Support the Project Manager in the development of, monitoring and reporting on progress.
* Manage and implement the quality process in accordance with the Project Quality Plan, with a particular emphasis on defect avoidance and zero defects at completion to ensure Nuclear Safety
* Establish effective communication across the project along with client and stakeholder teams
* Be proactive in controlling project costs and provide detailed reports on variances against weekly forecasts
* Identify risks and opportunities, both technical and commercial, and take account of these in developing a strategy for successful project delivery
* Manage and monitor the progress of work against realistic programme milestones and advise on measures to mitigate delay as necessary
* Be responsible for contractual matters relating to the Contract and Subcontracts, for raising the necessary correspondence, change management and for record keeping
* Liaise with third parties as necessary
Carry out any other reasonable project tasks as requested by the Project Manager
Responsibilities
* Knowledge of CEMAR & D2 processes
* Good stakeholder and Client management skills
* Client and customer focused and able to demonstrate evidence of successful collaboration.
* High levels of self-motivation and drive
* Knowledge and experience of Project management in the nuclear decommissioning sector and NEC3 contract experience preferred.(desirable)
* Less experienced individuals with the right behaviours may be considered in a development role.(desirable)
* Appropriate level of Project delivery experience (desirable)
* Awareness of CDM regs within the nuclear industry (desirable)
* Proven team working and people management skills. (desirable)
Qualifications
Essential
* Degree qualified or equivalent (NVQ/HNC/HND/QBE)
* SC Security Clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance
Desirable
* APM PMQ/PFQ
* Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Card
