Junior Estimator – Residential Construction | Northampton
Jumpstart your career in construction estimating with one of the UK’s leading firms. Full training is provided so you don’t need prior estimating experience, just curiosity and enthusiasm!
What you’ll be doing
* Digging into building plans you’ll work with architectural drawings and see how projects come together in the real world.
* Working out materials and quantities learn how to calculate exactly what’s needed so branches can turn your figures into accurate quotes.
* Using our systems like a pro don’t worry if you’ve never used estimating software before; we’ll train you step by step.
* Learning the trade every day from different materials to project planning, you’ll pick up practical construction skills fast.
* Helping your team by supporting colleagues with calculations and design-related tasks while gaining confidence and experience.
What we’re looking for
* Some background in architecture, construction, or building (degree, course, college, apprenticeship, hands-on experience, etc)
* Comfortable with technical drawings or keen to learn quickly
* Good with numbers and detail-oriented
* Organised, proactive, and happy working in a friendly office environment
* Excited to grow and build a career in estimating
