THE ROLE
13. Support the Engineering Manager in delivering detailed technical documentation, including inspection reports, repair plans, and rebuild reports
14. Produce and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support service activities and accurate job costing
15. Assess rotating equipment and define required repairs and restoration processes
16. Provide guidance on best manufacturing and repair practices for refurbishment projects
17. Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure all parts, materials, and resources are available in line with project timelines
18. Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to maintain smooth workflow from project start to completion
19. Oversee and support a small team, ensuring work is delivered efficiently and to a high standard
20. Work closely with the quality team to ensure all documentation and processes meet required standards and best practice
21. Contribute to the overall delivery of projects, maintaining a strong understanding of operational processes across the business
THE PERSON
22. Qualified Mechanical Engineer (time-served or degree-qualified)
23. Strong experience working with rotating equipment is essential
24. Good understanding of pump systems and associated testing methods
25. Knowledge of reverse engineering and mechanical refurbishment processes
26. Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced in using ERP systems
27. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
28. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation
29. Confident communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally
30. Capable of leading or supporting a team within a fast-paced engineering environment
