Who you are: • Come up through the tools and earned your stripes - like a well-worn hammer with a story to tell. • Had a taste of management but still mucks in (within the heritage and restoration sector) • Can talk to subbies, clients, and Architects - and knows they're three very different dialects of the same language. • Takes pride in quality work - because half measures and bodges are like a scaffold with one loose bolt: you might get away with it, but not for long. • Has realistic expectations, ambition, and isn't allergic to hard graft. This isn't just a job; it's a career where your work actually means something. What you'll be doing: • Working on heritage and high-end restoration projects across London - buildings with quirks, character, and enough odd corners to make a cat feel at home. • Reading drawings, calling off materials, and planning logistics like a chess grandmaster with a hammer. • Coordinating trades - from sparkies to plumbers - without anyone muttering, Who's actually in charge here? • Keeping projects on track, safe, and done properly - because the only thing worse than a bodge is a repeat visit from one. • Learning the ropes of heritage delivery, from floors to roofs to intricate joinery, with enough attention to detail to make a perfectionist weep quietly into their tea.
