The opportunity
1. Be an exceptional patient advocate and ensure patient safety standards are adhered to at all times.
2. Be an exceptional team player and ensure collaborative working relationships with all departments.
3. Act as role model within the team and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
4. To assist Manager in overseeing day to day activity.
5. To liaise with the physiotherapy team and consultants in the wider hospital to manage bookings and referrals in a timely manner.
6. Ensure the work within the area of administration and support meets all required standards and timescales.
7. To handle all enquires, or queries raised efficiently and effectively, escalating appropriately where necessary.
8. To ensure all data/information is entered, modified, maintained and presented accurately and efficiently using the appropriate electronic or manual system and format.
9. Ensuring all routines are completed and standards of service are delivered.
10. To prepare standard and ad-hoc reports as required by the department.
11. Work closely with the physiotherapy team to manage bookings, scanning and referrals.

12. Demonstrable relevant experience working within a similar role
13. Good IT and keyboard skills
14. Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
15. Good organisation and analytical skills
16. Experience of working in a customer-facing environment
17. Outstanding telephone manner
18. Adaptable to change
19. Demonstrate any relevant experience, which would allow you to meet the above criteria.
20. Friendly, approachable and enthusiastic
21. NVQ 3 or equivalent would be desirable for this position.
