This secondary school's Science Department is thriving, and we are seeking a skilled Science Technician to join the team and support teaching and learning in the sciences.
The RoleAs a Science Technician, you will:
1. Prepare and set up practical experiments and demonstrations for science lessons
2. Maintain and organise laboratory equipment, chemicals, and resources
3. Ensurepliance with health and safety regulations at all times
4. Provide technical support to staff and students during practical sessions
5. Assist in the safe disposal of materials and management of stock levels
Requirements
6. CLEAPSS trained (essential)
7. Previous experience working in a school science department or laboratory environment
8. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
