Customer Support Engineer Location: Stamford, Lincolnshire (Office-based with global travel)

An industry-leading engineering business is looking for an experienced Customer Support Engineer to join their high-performing service team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically skilled, customer-focused professional who enjoys a balance of hands-on work, problem-solving, and international travel.
You'll provide expert support for a range of industrial test equipment from troubleshooting and repairs to commissioning, maintenance, and global on-site visits.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide remote and in-person technical support on electrical and mechanical systems
* Diagnose and repair faults down to component level
* Conduct commissioning, routine servicing, and customer training globally
* Manage warranty claims and documentation via SAP B1
* Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and service reports
* Feed insights back to design, sales, and production to support product improvement
* Maintain compliance with H&S and international trade regulations
* Travel globally at short notice, including some weekends and extended stays when required
What Youll Bring:
* Minimum ONC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
* 5+ years experience in a field-based service engineering role
* Strong working knowledge of industrial control systems
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAP B1 preferred)
* Full UK driving licence and valid passport
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
